One of the most underrated uses for an oscillating tool is the removal of grout from between wall or floor tiles. Other tools can also do it, but the smoothest method uses an oscillating tool and a Dremel Multi-Max grout removal blade. You will appreciate it even more if you have a large amount of grout to remove because the tool and accessory combination gets the job done quick.
1/16” Grout Removal Blade
Used for removing grout joints between wall tiles for repair, remodeling or restoration work. There is no rule here, but we recommend using the 1/16” thick blade for grout lines between 1/8” wide and ¼” wide. The blade is designed to remove all grout between the tiles and up to the surface of a wall or corner.

1/8” Grout Removal Blade
Used for removing grout joints between wall tiles during repair, remodeling, or restoration work. The 1/8” thick blade works well for grout lines ¼” wide and wider. It's designed to remove all grout between tiles and reach up to the surface of a wall or corner.
