I made a project last year that I called Twin Eagles. Here is a reminder photo. What I was really wanting to make was an eagle with individual wing feathers. A pretty big project, but I finally got myself motivated and started designing the pose and scale of the eagle. Then I began making the feathers. I drew the images of the shapes and quills and then printed that onto paper and then transferred that to the copper screen material that I am using for the actual feathers and glued quills to each spine. The overall wingspan is going to be about 31cm or 12 inches. These 40 feathers are less than half of what I need to make. Here is what I have so far.
