Seems I just have to have something to keep me busy all the time and I was thinking of another something out of wire after I finished the helicopter and thought an eagle catching a fish would be interesting - so here it is. Small gauge brass wire, brass mesh filter screen for the wings and a chunk of wood from the walking trial for a base. The fish is my very first wood carving though I have made other things and shapes from wood like a propeller. I used my Dremel MotoSaw to cut the fish from a piece of redwood. I liked the dark over light wood piece I used to make the fish belly look better. The other tool was my 4300 Rotary tool to shape the fish after I blocked it out with the MotoSaw.
