I always liked the little Bell-47 helicopters they used for the TV show MASH. I even thought of making one using an old flashlight bulb I had lying around and so this week I did make it. These little projects sure can be a challenge to design and find parts for much less try to hold in order to put them together. This little guy of course is made from the flashlight bulb, but also from copper circuit board material, tiny parts from an electronic circuit board for the gas tanks, pieces from a beaded chain for the tips of the stabilizer bar, a gold plated nut from a coaxial cable connector is the engine, the center core from a coaxial cable connector made the rotor shaft and various small gauge brass wires and flat stock for the frame, rotor blades and other parts. I mostly used my Dremel 4300 Rotary Tool to drill, grind and polish the parts. Thanks for the photos of your Bell 47 Helicopter. Wow, your crafted model helicopter is absolutely impressive! It looks like a miniature marvel ready to take flight.
