1st attempt at etching

This was my first attempt at etching. Question for the more seasoned etchers out there, where do you find your bits at? I've came across several bits that said they were diamond bits but didn't etch the glass.

Hi Jman2603,  When working in glass you may prefer using Dremel silicon carbide stones (blue green color). They do a great job on glass, the wide ones cover large areas smoothly. A diamond point bit will make fine lines in glass, but for all around work, try some silicon carbide stones.

I never knew that those stones would etch the glass as well, thank you i shall try that on my upcoming project.

Hi, I buy my carbide and diamond tipped bits at both Amazon and Harbor Freight.
