Multimax MM45 Not closing all the way

Hello, 

Curious if this was fixable. 
This is my father in law's tool, he had some good years with the tool, he mentioned the pin stopped going in all the way and won't lock any attachment. 

Is this something that is fixable?

This may or may not be fixable. I believe the MM45 is an older tool and most likely older than two years. (a tool less than two years is still under warranty). We'll need to determine if it can be fixed, so your best bet is to contact Dremel customer service and they'll help you determine if it can be fixed.
