Book Lovers Triangle Book Stand, Placeholder and Storage Drawer

Here are three items created for reading books, cook books, etc.. There is the book triangle, with a storage drawer that slides in and out of the triangle to store items such has pencils, pens, glasses, paperclips, sticky notes... There is also a wooder place holder, fitting on your thumb, holding your place while reading books. I utilized the Blueprint saw for cutting the boards for the triangle and also used the Blueprint saw to cut out the peices for the drawer. The Dremel 8240 was used for shapping the wooden book place holder and sanding and smoothing down the edges of the triangle and drawer.threesom02.jpgthreesom01.jpgthreesom04.jpgthreesom06.jpg

Once again, multiple clever ideas rolled into one.  Great idea on the storage drawer!

Hey scLowe01,

Now that’s a clever way to pause a book reading! I’m constantly hunting for my reading glasses or a highlighter, so having a drawer right there is such a smart and thoughtful touch. It’s like a little reading sanctuary built into the furniture!  Nice way to use the Blueprint tools.

Thanks! The blueprint saw/tool is great when working with smaller pieces of wood and it nice not having to get a larger tool out for the project. The It tool also creates a cleaner cute when cutting smailer thin pieces of wood. And it also saves a lot of times going back and forth untill the wood the fits together correctly.
